I'm considering adding wallpaper to my powder room for a bit of flair but I'm a bit concerned about how well it will hold up in a damp environment. Has anyone actually used wallpaper in their small bathroom? How does it perform with all that humidity?

The worst that could happen is you might have to repaint if you ever decide to change the wallpaper. Just ensure you run the fan during and after showers to help with ventilation. If you can crack a window open, that's even better!
I used regular wallpaper in my bathroom since it was on sale, and I haven't had major issues as long as the space is well ventilated. Just be sure to seal the edges with some clear silicone and use moldings around fixtures for added protection. So far, so good!
If you're worried about how wallpaper will last in a bathroom, definitely check out vinyl-coated or specialty wall coverings that are designed for high-moisture areas. They'll hold up better! I always get my samples from a design site so I can feel them in person before making a choice. Plus, they have some really fun, bold patterns that would work perfectly in a powder room!
