I'm curious about everyone's experiences with seed companies. For those of you who have planted seeds and ended up with something totally different than what you expected, what company did you use? I personally used Burpee seeds and ended up with long pie pumpkins instead of the spaghetti squash I was hoping for. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I had a packet of yellow courgette seeds, and it was a bit of a lottery! I planted three, and got one yellow, one striped, and one green zucchini plant. What are the odds? I mean, all I wanted was a basic courgette!
That's hilarious! I had a similar issue last year with Burpee Carnival Bell Pepper seeds; I ended up with these hot and tasteless banana peppers instead. When I reached out to them, they didn’t seem to care at all, which really bummed me out. I decided to steer clear of Burpee this year and have started buying from smaller local seed producers who actually seem to care about their customers.
I've had a weird run with West Coast Seeds for the last two years. I planted red dwarf sunflower seeds, and they ended up growing into these tall, multi-headed giants. Also, my long English cucumber seeds turned into tiny patio munchers instead. It’s been amusing, to say the least!
