I'm really curious about whether homeowners out there have gone through the trouble of renovating their houses primarily to install bigger windows. Although it's not something we can afford right now, I often daydream about transforming my space with floor-to-ceiling windows to give my plants the best light possible. If you've actually done this, did you enjoy the outcome, or do you have any regrets? Or maybe you just share the same dream?

While I didn’t remodel just for big windows, the floor-to-ceiling ones in my living area were a huge reason for choosing my house. They let in so much light, and I've noticed a big difference in how my houseplants thrive!
I can totally relate to your dream! I knocked out my bedroom window and installed sliding doors, which drastically brightened up my space. It wasn't a full renovation, but the change has made such an impact; I love seeing my garden every day! No real regrets here, just wanting more light!
I've been dreaming about bigger windows too! I really think adding a sun porch could be a great solution, letting in tons of light without major structural changes. Plus, it'll give plenty of space for those plants to flourish without compromising anything else.

That sounds amazing! I'm considering a similar upgrade. Would love those doors to let my dogs in and out easily too!
