Help Choosing Between Aluminum and Fiberglass Extension Ladders

I'm in need of a 24-foot extension ladder for my high gutters and have come across a couple of options. Since I don't have exposed power lines, I was thinking aluminum might be ideal. However, I did find a fiberglass alternative that's a bit pricier: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Werner-24-ft-Fiberglass-Extension-Ladder-23-ft-Reach-Height-with-300-lb-Load-Capacity-Type-IA-Duty-Rating-D6224-2/100659877. Is there some major advantage to fiberglass besides its electrical safety? Also, I weigh around 260 pounds, so I'm considering the Type 1A ladder with a 300-pound capacity. Is there more to the Type 1A rating than just weight limit? Does it offer increased stability or anything? I'm not a fan of heights, so stability would definitely be a priority.
