I'm new to gardening this season and made Mel's Mix for my raised bed. I didn't add any dish soap to the peat moss, but I did halve the amount thinking it would expand enough. Will my mix still retain water and expand as expected, or am I in trouble? I'm worried the 33% peat moss ratio might be off now that my garden is planted. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
