I'm a first-time homeowner dealing with what seems like a plumbing issue in my kitchen. The sprayer on my faucet is leaking a bit, and there's this annoying thumping noise happening along with it. I'm pretty broke, my credit is maxed out, and I'm not very handy. I'm really hoping this is something simple to fix that won't cost more than $40!

Try unscrewing the sprayer from the faucet and give it a good clean. That's usually the first step and costs nothing! Sometimes dirt builds up and causes leaks. If tightening doesn't help, it could be an easy fix right at the source.
Great tip! Just a heads up though—if you're gonna unscrew it, maybe turn the water off first, just in case. It's better to be safe! Good luck with your fix!
