Help! I Left Grout on My Mosaic Lamp Too Long—What Now?

I'm a newbie to crafting and recently made a Turkish mosaic lamp. The instructor said to leave the grout on for 24 hours, but now it's so hard that it feels like cement! I'm in a bit of a bind here and need advice on how to safely remove the excess grout. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

It’s tough because it’s essentially cement! You can try chiseling some of it off carefully, or if you're feeling bold, just embrace the extra grout and say it was part of your 'artistic vision.' If you want to fix it, starting over might be your best bet if it's really stuck on there.

Oh no! I don’t even know where to start for supplies to redo it. I thought the only at-home step was grouting. Got any tips for the chisel method?
