Help! I Overplanted My Roma Tomatoes in a Bucket!

Hey everyone! I'm trying my hand at growing tomatoes for the first time, and I've run into a little hiccup. I set up a 5-gallon bucket garden and filled one bucket with six Roma seedlings. Now, they're all packed in there and doing well, but it's turning into a bit of a bush! I'm considering putting a cage in the middle to help manage them, but I'm also wondering if I need to thin them out a bit. Is weaving them easy? Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm curious why you didn't plant directly in the ground instead of using buckets? It could give them more space to spread out and grow!

If it's too crowded, you might want to consider moving two seedlings to each bucket instead. I had a similar situation and relocated a seedling after it got too big, and it bounced back well. Using a trellis will definitely help with support, and don’t hesitate to experiment with trimming. There's loads of info online about different techniques!
