After a previous flood in 2013, my basement has been holding up well until now. With all the rain this year, I noticed a small leak in my basement. I removed the drywall and insulation, and it seems the source is some tiny, planned slits in my cement foundation. I found a bit of groundwater seeping through. I'm looking for advice on how to handle this! I have pictures and video, but I can't share them here.

Definitely look into those weeping holes! They might be doing their job but sometimes need maintenance to function properly. If you're experiencing leaks, a sump pump is a good idea, especially if you have a natural drain already in place. Make sure to check around the area for any signs of water pooling.
Those tiny slits could be weeping holes. They're intended to help with drainage in foundations, so it makes sense they'd be symmetrical. You might want to check if they need to be cleared or if they might be clogged. Also, having a sump pump could help manage any future water issues! Let me know if you need more info on that.
