I recently purchased a Bosch SHX78CC5UC dishwasher from a scratch and dent store. While it looks brand new, I didn't do enough research before buying. I currently have an old Hotpoint dishwasher that's probably been around since 1997. I don't know much about the electrical or plumbing setup needed for the new dishwasher. The store is set to deliver and install it this Tuesday, but I'm wondering if I should call ahead to check if I need to prepare anything. Since this is my first home, I'm a bit anxious and would love some insight if I'm overthinking things!

Just so you know, the installers might not handle anything that's not straightforward. If they encounter issues with the old setup, they might refuse to do the install. Sometimes the smaller stores hire plumbers for this, so having a good plumber lined up could save you some hassle.
Congrats on getting the Bosch 800! It’s a great machine. Generally, you won’t need to do much prep work, but it might be a good idea to call the store and ask what to expect.
