Help! Looking for Type Studies for a Stanley 45 Without a Center Skate

I made a bit of a mistake when purchasing a Stanley 45 plane—I got it without the center skate! I've been trying to find some type studies online to identify a compatible part, but it seems like all the resources I once found are either gone or just have minimal info. If anyone knows of good type studies that can help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

You should definitely reach out to Michael Jenks at Just Plane Fun! He has a ton of parts for planes and helped me find some missing pieces for mine. His email is [email protected]. He's super helpful!

I’m on Reddit too, and I can help you find the right skate. Just send me a message or email me at the address above. I have Heckel’s book, which should help us figure out what type your No. 45 is!

I'll take your advice! I should've paid more attention when I bought it. The seller's husband had passed away, and amidst all the cool stuff, I got carried away with the 45. I didn't even realize the middle section was missing until I got home.
