Hey everyone! I'm trying to decide between the Dewalt DCF900 and the Milwaukee 2967 for my job in a factory tool and die shop. I've watched a bunch of YouTube reviews and they look pretty similar, but I'm unsure which one to go with. For a bit of context, I already have a lot of Dewalt tools at home—mostly because that's what my wife got me in a big combo set one year, and I haven't had any issues with them. I'd really appreciate all your feedback on which impact would be better suited for my needs!

Good point about torque specs! It really comes down to what you’re working on. Make sure you know the torque requirements for your tasks; you don’t want to over tighten things. The DCF900 is solid but keep in mind the DCF891 can also perform well if you match it with a higher amp battery. Just be cautious with high torque—often a mid-range impact is better for general assembly tasks.
Totally agree! I use a mid-torque impact like the DCF961 for wheels all the time. Just remember to stop when the nut is snug and always check with a torque wrench afterward!
Honestly, since you already have Dewalt batteries, I'd go with the DCF900. It’s a real powerhouse and will fit right into your current setup without the hassle of extra batteries.
That’s kinda what I was thinking too! Just didn't want to miss any crucial detail before I pull the trigger.
Thanks for this! So you're saying it's better to use a torque wrench to finish tightening? I usually do that, but just wanted to double check.
