I'm trying to remember the name of a tree-like plant that can easily be bought in cuttings. It grows really fast, roots super easily, and is often used as a privacy fence. The plant looks like twigs and, honestly, you can just take a cutting, stick it in the ground, and it will root without much fuss. Does anyone know what this plant might be?

It sounds like you're describing willows! They're pretty easy to root and grow really quickly, making them great for privacy fencing.
Could it be bamboo? It has that twig-like appearance, but I know it can spread a ton, which might be a concern!
What about something like forsythia? It can also work well for privacy and roots easily.
