I messed up a bit when installing cabinet handles. I used a template, but it ended up shifting during the installation, and now the handles are uneven. The cabinet doors came pre-painted, so I'm not sure what's the best way to fix this mess. I know it looks bad, and I'm open to suggestions. Here's a link to a picture of the issue: https://imgur.com/a/cJc41ff. Let me know what I should do!

If these cabinets are new, it might be easier just to get a new door. Matching the finish perfectly can be tough, especially since it's pre-painted. If they're older cabinets though, using wood filler and white enamel can help fix the unevenness.
You have a few options here: 1) You could just say it's close enough and leave it as is; 2) Remove one handle, fill the holes with wax pencil, paint over them, then redrill for a better fit; or 3) Remove one, fill the holes, sand down the entire door, repaint, and then reattach the handle. Option 2 is quicker but might take some finesse to make the holes disappear totally.
