I recently planted some carrot seeds in my raised bed and covered them with cardboard. Unfortunately, I forgot to check on them and they ended up sprouting too much, resulting in leggy seedlings with long white stems. Is there any way to salvage them or make them healthy again? I'm unsure whether I can effectively add soil to support them.

Don't worry too much! These leggy seedlings will bounce back once they get established. Just make sure to keep them well-watered and they'll adapt over time.
It happens all the time! They'll figure it out, just give them a little time. But keep an eye out for slugs and snails, as they'll try to munch on your seedlings!
Yeah, leggy stems can be a problem, but if they sprouted, they'll usually be fine after a few days. Just ensure they're getting plenty of light and water. And about the cardboard—it's supposed to help keep the soil moist so the seeds sprout easier.
