I recently had a concrete patio installed, but now the corner looks really bad—it's about 8 inches higher than the surrounding ground. The yard was already sloped when the patio was poured, and I'm not sure why it turned out this way. I definitely didn't want to make the slope steeper. Does anyone have advice on how I can fix this issue?

Sounds like your patio might need some grading to level it out. You could bring in some topsoil to help with that and reshape the slope to blend it in. It’s pretty common for patios to be a bit higher than the surrounding ground, so don’t worry too much! Just make sure to get the grading right to avoid water pooling.
Yeah, it definitely sounds like grading is what you need. If it's looking solid otherwise, you can just adjust the ground level around it with some topsoil. It’ll fix that height issue without making your yard even steeper.
Exactly! You just want to ensure water drains away properly, so grading is key.

Totally agree! Just a little topsoil should do the trick to level it. You got this!
