I accidentally left my DCBL722B outside in the rain, and now it won't work. I'm sure the battery isn't the issue, as I've tried using a fresh battery and nothing happens when I pull the trigger. After some searching online, I'm worried I might be out of luck. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance!

How long did you wait after it got wet? If it was recently, it might just need some time to dry out completely. Take the battery out and let the device air out, possibly using a hair dryer to speed things up. Many electronics don't fail immediately from water; often it's corrosion or shorts that cause trouble later on.
I waited about a day before trying it again. That's when I realized it was still dead.
I actually left mine in front of a fan overnight after it got wet, and it worked for a little while the next day. Just make sure to keep it in a well-ventilated spot and give it plenty of drying time. I plan to keep it on the fan today too and see if it responds better later on.

That’s solid advice! Most issues arise from corrosion rather than just getting wet. Hope it helps!
