I just unboxed my new DCR010 Bluetooth Speaker, and I'm having trouble getting it to connect. When I power it on, the blue light indicates that a device is connected, but when I press the Bluetooth button, nothing happens. I've tried holding it down too, but it just stays blue. I also looked for it on my phone, but it doesn't show up at all. Am I missing something, or do I have a defective unit?

It sounds like you're doing everything right, but usually, after you press the Bluetooth button, the power LED should blink, and you should hear a sound indicating it's ready to connect. You shouldn’t have to hold it down, just a quick press should do the trick. It's possible you got a defective one, unfortunately.
Yeah, it does sound like it could be a lemon. If that blue light stays solid, it usually means it’s connected to something. Have you checked if maybe it auto-connected to another device first? Either way, if you can’t get it to work, it might be time to consider returning it.
