Hey everyone! I messed up my Dewalt 735 planer pretty bad after installing a Shellix head. In my rush, I forgot to put in the spacer for the drive belt pulley and ended up driving the pulley too flush against the case. I've got an extra end spline, so I'm not too worried about that part. I tried to push the shaft out, but it's just not budging. The grooves on the pulley are too narrow for a gear puller to get a good grip. Any tips on how to fix this without having to buy new parts? I know I've made some mistakes, so feel free to lay it on me.

You might want to try removing the gear on the opposite side of the shaft and replace it with a hex bolt. Give it a good tap; sometimes that combined pressure helps. Just be careful because too much force can cause damage! Good luck with it!
Sounds like a smart move, but be careful not to overdo it. I've been there before; it's a fine line between fixing it and making it worse!
