I just stepped outside and my garden is swarming with slugs, both small and large. I'm really worried about dealing with them before they come back like last year. What are some effective methods to keep them at bay?

Have you thought about using nematodes? They're a natural option to deal with slugs without harming pets. Just check this site for more info: nemaslugs.com. It could be a game changer!

Are these safe for cats? My cat occasionally rolls in the grass, so I want to be sure.

Oh no, slugs can be a real pain! I've had success with beer traps; they seem to lure them in effectively. I'm also planning to try sandpaper around my pots this year, as someone suggested that worked well for them. It's been a reliable go-to for slug control for me!

Beer traps have worked wonders for me too! I was shocked by how many slugs they caught. I'm definitely setting some more up—just remember, catching them one night doesn't mean they're gone the next, so be persistent!
