Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a situation! My indoor window crank handle broke off and I'm not sure how to fix it. I've never had crank windows before, so I'm lost. I can't ask my dad for help, so I thought I'd reach out here. Do I need to replace the entire mechanism, or can I just swap out the handle? Do I need to get a handle and a cover replacement too? And how do I figure out which parts I need?

If you still have the broken handle, that’s great! Sometimes it can just be reattached if it hasn't completely broken. There might be a pin or mechanism that allows you to secure it back in place. If it's completely broken though, you might need to look for a replacement handle.
You can definitely buy replacement handles from places like Home Depot or Amazon, and they’re usually pretty inexpensive. Just make sure to bring your old handle with you to find a suitable match, as they can vary a bit!

Yeah, I also had a similar issue once. I managed to just replace the handle and it worked like a charm!
