Help! My Kalanchoe is Drooping After Overwatering – What Can I Do?

Asked By PlantNinja99 On

I accidentally watered my Kalanchoe every day for about a month, and I only realized my mistake four days ago when I noticed that many of the buds were drooping. I stopped watering, but now more than half of the plant is still drooping. Can anyone share low-maintenance tips on how to save it from dying?

To address overwatering, you should repot your Kalanchoe in fresh, dry soil. Make sure to check the roots for any rot and cut away any dead parts before putting it back in the soil. Just keep in mind that this process might not be super low-maintenance, but it could save your plant!

I've been there before! First, check if the trunk has gone soft or rotten. If it has, you'll want to prune the healthy branches and try propagating them. It’s a bit of work, but it’s worth it to save the plant!

I'm honestly confused about how someone could water a plant daily by accident. Was it, like, under something dripping? I usually only water mine once a week!

Lol, I guess I just got a bit carried away thinking it needed more water!
