Help! My Kitchen Ceiling Leaks Every Time It Rains

I've been dealing with a frustrating leak in my kitchen ceiling that happens whenever it rains. My parents had leaffilter gutters installed a couple of months ago, and while they worked great initially, the leak has started again during tonight's rain. It drips right into my cabinet, soaking everything. Fortunately, I managed to catch it before it got out of hand, but I'm really looking for advice on what to check next to fix this problem.

Definitely check the sewer vents on your roof. Over time, the rubber gasket can get brittle and loosen, which might be letting water in at that specific spot. It usually looks like a PVC pipe with a rubber boot at the bottom. You can find covers at places like Home Depot that can protect it from rain.

Totally agree! I had a similar issue with an old vent pipe boot after a big rainstorm last summer. It was a mess!
