Help! My LG Washing Machine is Leaking Water – What Should I Do?

I noticed a puddle of water after my laundry finished yesterday. Today I checked again, and everything was dry until the last spin cycle, when I found a lot of water and some black debris leaking from the machine. It's an LG front loader that's about 3 years old. I can't figure out where the leak is coming from, and now I'm really worried!

I’ve been there! Sometimes, front loaders can leak due to the weight of the water during the spin cycle, especially in humid weather. If you’re not noticing condensation anywhere else, focus on ensuring the water hoses are correctly attached and not damaged. Good luck with the technician, and let us know how it goes!

I totally get the frustration! If you're seeing a significant amount of water leaking, it could be a sign of something more serious than just a loose hose. It’s smart that you called a technician; they can better diagnose and fix whatever's causing the leak. Don’t stress too much – hopefully, it’s something simple that can be covered under warranty!

It sounds like your washer is definitely having some issues! First off, check the drain spout and the surrounding area; sometimes leaks happen there. You could also use a flashlight to inspect the back and see if any connections look loose. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on it while running a regular cycle to pinpoint exactly when the leak happens. If it’s not from the hoses or the drain, you might need a technician to check it out more thoroughly.
