I absolutely adore plants and have started my little collection, but I'm struggling to keep my Pink Princess healthy. She used to be gorgeous, but now she looks so sad and ashy. I've had her since February 14th, and she's potted in aroid soil. I water her about every 8 days with roughly half a cup of water. She gets taken outside for about 4-6 hours of sunlight each day. I'm really worried about her—can anyone help me diagnose the problem and give me tips on how to care for her better?

It sounds like your Pink Princess might be too moist and not getting enough water at the right times. Make sure she’s in a pot with proper drainage. A tip is to let the soil dry out completely before giving her a good soak—around 30 minutes should do the trick. After soaking, let her drain properly before putting her back. I’d also check her roots since constant dampness can lead to root rot. Good luck!
Your plant might be sunburnt! If she's getting direct sunlight when outside, that could be the issue. Make sure she's not getting too much harsh sunlight, especially if it's really bright. Maybe a spot with some filtered light would work better.
