I'm feeling really overwhelmed right now. We live in a rural area surrounded by fields, and this week, the farmers sprayed their crops on a windy day. Unfortunately, everything is starting to die—every tree, including our old growth Elm, and all our roses are affected. Our beautiful maple trees are crispy and crumbling. It's suspected that they were over-sprayed with a broadleaf herbicide, and I'm really anxious about the impact on our plants. I've already contacted the duty officer and filed a claim with the Department of Agriculture, but I'm physically sick over this situation after 17 years of hard work. Is there anything I can do to help my plants survive?

I totally get you—this is a tough situation. Document everything! Take photos of the affected plants and keep a record of your communications with the authorities. They should be held accountable for this. It’s heartbreaking to see your hard work being destroyed, but having evidence will help you with your claim.
Great advice on documenting! It really makes a difference, especially if you need to prove the damage.
