I recently moved into a new rental and set up a portable AC unit. I didn't realize it would drain so much water, and now, just two days in, my hardwood floor is showing signs of damage. There's some blackness at the edges and the wood is raised. Is there any way I can fix this myself?

It sounds like your portable AC is leaking water, which can definitely cause some serious floor damage. For the black stains, you might be dealing with mold, so getting that treated is important. A good first step is to dry out the area completely. You can use fans or dehumidifiers.
