I've got a raised patio that was installed last April with pavers, and since then I've noticed that after heavy rain, the laminate floor just inside my back door gets really damp and is starting to warp. The landscaping company blames the gazebo for directing water onto the door, but I've watched it during rain and that doesn't seem to be happening. It also looks like the pavers didn't raise the patio height compared to my indoor floor, which confuses me. Water is clearly getting in, but I can't see how. Has anyone dealt with something similar? I want to get it fixed but I'm not sure where to begin. Could it be a problem with the door or frame being warped?

It sounds like there might be an issue with the grading of your patio. Even if the pavers don’t seem higher, if they’re not properly angled away from the door, water could still be pooling and seeping in. I'd recommend taking some pictures and maybe posting them for a better assessment. You’ll want to check for any cracks or gaps around the doorframe, too!
That's a good point about the grading! I didn't think about how that could affect drainage. I’ll definitely check for gaps around the door.
Yeah, definitely check for cracks. Sometimes even small gaps can cause big issues during heavy rains.
