I've been dealing with a lot of calcium buildup in my shower drain, so I decided to try CLR to get rid of it. I chipped away at the buildup and used a shop vac to clean it out, but now my drain is even more clogged than it was before. Should I use more CLR to break down the little pieces, or would a mixture of baking soda and vinegar be a better option? I'm open to any tips or advice you might have. Thanks!

You should definitely take the shower head off and let it soak in CLR for a couple of hours. It can really help loosen that buildup! Vinegar might work, but it's a slower process. Just keep in mind that mixing baking soda with vinegar isn't a great idea here since baking soda neutralizes the acid in vinegar, which might actually do more harm than good!

Just to clarify, are you talking about the shower head or the drain? I thought your problem was with the drain, not the head!
