Help! My Sunflowers Are Dying Overnight!

I woke up today to find that most of my sunflowers are dying. They seemed fine last night, but now their petals are falling off, and they're not even facing the sun. What can I do to save them?

How long ago did you plant them? Sunflowers typically have a pretty short lifespan. If they’ve only been blooming for about three weeks, it might just be their natural cycle. Keep an eye on the remaining ones and you might still get some decent blooms out of them!

I didn't realize they had such a short lifespan! I planted everything at the same time, so hopefully, at least a few will stick around.

It sounds like they might be at the end of their life cycle. Sunflowers don’t last terribly long, and they typically start to droop as they mature and prepare to produce seeds. If you want a continuous bloom, consider planting more seeds 6 to 8 weeks after your initial batch to keep the flowers coming!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! It’s good to have flowers at different growth stages!
