Help! My undermount sink is separating from the granite countertop—what should I do?

Hey everyone, I recently noticed that our undermount sink is starting to come loose from the granite countertop. A friend suggested I look into replacing it with a drop-in sink for better support. I'm curious if it's worth the hassle to fix the current setup, and if so, who should I call for help? I've tried to reach out to some plumbers, but they said they don't deal with undermount sinks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Here's a picture of the problem: https://imgur.com/a/9vFPQjn

These sinks are usually secured with silicone, and sometimes the installation isn’t done very well. The good news is that you can fix it. You’ll want to remove the old silicone, clean everything up, then reapply new silicone and brace it for a day. Adding some extra support brackets under the sink wouldn’t hurt either!

Don't stress too much—this can usually be sorted out in a single day. Start by removing the plumbing and pull the sink out. Clean the surfaces thoroughly, then reset the sink and add extra support blocks to ensure it stays put this time around.
