Hey everyone! So here's the deal: I was in the shower when the water suddenly cut off. My house runs on a well system, which I just had inspected and it passed with no issues. The pressure gauge shows 50 psi, but when I knock on the tank, it sounds almost empty. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Any suggestions would be super helpful!

So your shower just stopped and you've got 50 psi? Is that the water pressure in your tank or just the air pressure? Check if any other faucets are working. If you have water pressure but no flow, it might be that an automatic leak detector kicked in thinking there’s a leak. You might want to look into products like the Moen automatic shutoff valve; they can be pretty handy!
I’m no expert, but it sounds like you might be running low on water. My family has two wells, and when we overuse the good one, it can go dry. We end up taking super quick showers to manage it better. Also, try to do your laundry and dishes at specific times to let the well refill. Just a thought!

Yeah, the 50 psi is from the tank. I checked, and there's no flow in any of the other faucets either, except for a tiny bit from the sink in the downstairs bathroom.
