Hey folks! I'm kind of new to this forum and really looking to help my wife out with her indoor plants. We have a dedicated plant room with around 120 indoor plants, complete with grow lights, three humidifiers, and a heater set to about 75 degrees. The blinds are always closed, so there's no natural sunlight coming in. Sadly, a lot of her plants are droopy and curled up, and while the top layer of soil is dry, the bottom feels cool—I'm not sure if that's damp enough. My wife uses Molly's aroid mix for most of them, but she's confused whether she's overwatering or underwatering. There's no sign of root rot, but I'm wondering if there's too much humidity or just not enough light. Any thoughts?

Have you thought about measuring the light from your grow lights? It could be that they aren’t strong enough for the plants, especially since you mentioned the blinds are always closed.
Artificial lights can often suffice for plants, so it’s possible they’re alright without sunlight as long as the light conditions are decent. But it’s hard to diagnose without seeing any photos. Do the plants show any bugs or issues? Maybe post a few pictures for better insight! Also, consider getting a light meter app to measure the actual light levels they’re getting.
Different plants definitely have different requirements, so it’s crucial to check each species for their specific light and watering needs. The soil type can also have a big impact on their health. It might help to do a bit of research on the particular plants your wife has to ensure they're in the right conditions.
That makes sense! I’ll get us started on researching them.
I’ll try to snap some pics and check the light levels. Thanks for the advice!
