I've been hearing this odd beeping or chirping sound in my house for almost a year now, and it's driving me up the wall! The noise is faint and electronic, kind of like radio feedback, but it's definitely not from a smoke detector or moisture alarm. It's super unpredictable—sometimes I'll hear one beep, then nothing for days or weeks. Recently, it started happening more frequently, lasting for several hours. I even managed to record it to prove to myself I'm not losing my mind! The sound has a ramping start and a hard stop, and it lasts less than a second. It's quieter than a normal conversation, so I usually can't pinpoint where it's coming from; I can hear it in every room of my house. I've checked vents and outlets, but nothing seems to be the source. I haven't heard it for a couple of days, but it's still lurking around—I can feel it! Any ideas on what this could be? I've included a link to the video of the sound if that helps.

That sounds super frustrating! I used to hear a single chime in my place, and it felt really haunting. It's like these sounds have a mind of their own! Maybe it’s some old electronic device that’s gone wonky? Have you checked for any hidden clocks or gadgets? Sometimes they can be loud but hidden away.
