Help! Neighbors’ Cats Keep Pooping in My Garden!

I'm really at my wit's end here. My garden has turned into a cat toilet, and I find new cat droppings every single day. It not only makes my garden a mess but also attracts flies, which end up buzzing around my house. It's so bad that my morning coffee sometimes gets a 'boost' from the awful smell of cat poop instead of my coffee! I need advice on how to tackle this problem. Should I just bag it and throw it away? What are my options?

You should definitely try covering your soil. Cats love bare dirt, so planting some stuff could help. Also, they don’t like citrus scents. You can get some orange essential oil, dilute it, and spray it around the areas they frequent. Cats hate that smell, so it might just send them packing!

I have a weed killer spray, so if I diluted the orange essential oil and sprayed it where the cats go, would that be safe?

One solution that I've found effective is to use something prickly, like broken holly branches or even chopped-up Christmas tree branches. Just lay them on the areas where the cats usually go. It might help deter them from using your garden as their litter box.

Alright, thank you for the suggestion!
