Hey everyone! I'm in north Alabama, and we just had a tornado that caused a lot of chaos. The power is out, and it looks like it's going to stay that way for a bit since there's a mess of downed power lines and trees. To make matters worse, it's supposed to drop into the 20s tomorrow and the next day, and my house is getting chilly. I have about 25 little tomato seedlings indoors that are just starting to get their second set of leaves, and I'm worried about them. Should I move them to a window? Would covering them help? Right now, they're in a dark corner with no light since all my grow lights are off. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

A good idea is to create a mini greenhouse using aluminum foil. Make a little bowl for the bottoms of the pots and then cover them with another bowl flipped upside down. During the day, put them in a sunny spot to get some warmth, and at night, cover them to keep some heat in. This should help them out!
Be careful with putting them by the window if it lets in too much cold air. It's crucial to keep their soil insulated while allowing them some light. If you can, cover them in clear plastic to maintain some warmth.
I think it's fine to keep them inside for a couple of days. Once the weather improves, place them near a sunny window during the day. Just make sure they don't get soaked in rain, as that could lead to bacterial problems. Remember, a little chill overnight won't hurt them as long as it stays above freezing.
