Help! What’s Causing This Wet Patch on My Carport Wall?

Hey all, I've got a bit of a mystery on my hands. I recently discovered a wet patch on the exterior wall beneath my carport (check out the link for a picture). The interior wall seems perfectly fine, and there are no signs of moisture on the foundation itself. The carport roof is currently covered in snow, so I'm wondering if melting snow might be to blame. Any advice on what I should do about it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked for any cracks at the foundation right under that wet patch? It could be a possible source of the moisture, but you might need to take a closer look. If you're not seeing any dampness inside, that's a good sign as well! Just keep an eye on it during the thaw.

I do have a crack down there, but I'm planning to fix that this summer. The interior and basement walls are completely dry, so I don’t think it’s coming from the foundation.

Is that a laundry vent nearby? Sometimes steam from drying clothes can really add moisture to the walls. Considering the patch is growing, it might be worth investigating further to see if that’s affecting it.

Yeah, there is a laundry vent right under that spot. But with how much the wet patch is expanding, is that normal? Should I be concerned?
