Help with My Raised Bed Garden Problems

Hey everyone! I have a raised bed garden that's split into two sections. Last year, one side thrived while the other side seemed to instantly kill everything I planted. I found an ant infestation and noticed the soil was hydrophobic. I've taken care of the ants and added some compost, but I'm not sure what else to try—maybe more topsoil? Now, I've noticed that the healthier section has started to attract ants as well, but it also has plenty of worms and beneficial critters. I'm considering adding diatomaceous earth, but I'm unsure if that's a good idea. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You might want to check out the Natures Good Guys brand for some safe pest control options. They're pretty well-known and reputable for keeping your garden healthy!

Thank you! I'll definitely look into that.
