Hey everyone! I planted a blueberry bush on the sunny south side of my home about three weeks ago. Almost right away, I noticed the leaves beginning to yellow and the top leaves started wilting. It's gotten worse in the last few days, with much of the plant turning yellow and wilting. I've been watering every few days, and when I tested the soil pH, it came out to about 6, so I added some acidifier today. However, things aren't looking good. The branches seem a bit woody, too. I don't have any close-up pictures from before to compare, but I'm worried. I'm located in the Pacific Northwest, zone 8b, so it gets a lot of sun here. Any advice on what might be causing this issue? Thanks for your help!

It can be tricky since yellowing and wilting can be caused by different factors. Generally, if the older leaves are turning yellow while the new growth looks fine, it might be a water or nutrient issue. But if all the leaves seem to be affected, it could be a disease or environmental stress, like too much direct sunlight. Make sure to monitor how it's doing with the heat as well!

Thanks for your input! The yellowing is happening throughout the plant, and it gets full sun all day. Considering the temperatures have been in the 80s, could it be too much sun for a young plant? If it turns out it's a disease, any tips for a newbie like me?
