I'm thinking about installing an electric fence to keep neighborhood cats and other small animals from digging up my flower garden. Right now, it's a mess and smells terrible because of all the cat waste. My garden has two separate sections on either side of the porch. Can anyone tell me if I need to get two separate chargers for each side, or is there a way to connect both sections to one charger?

You only need one charger! Just run wires from that single energizer to both sections of your fence. It can handle multiple fencing areas without a problem.
What if someone steps on the wire connecting both sides since there's a porch in between?
