Hey everyone! I'm trying to load test some FlexVolt batteries, but I realized there's a bit more to enabling the 60V mode than simply pressing the mechanical switch. Can someone explain how to properly activate it? Thanks a ton for any insights!

Actually, just pressing the switch puts it in 20V mode since those batteries come with red covers. When you remove the cover, it should enable the 60V setting. But there's more to it than that; you have to ensure the plungers are positioned correctly to let it run in 60V mode.
That's right! The red cover is designed to keep the battery in transport mode, making it think it's three separate 20V packs. Only when you're using the tool does the configuration change to allow for 60V.
You also need to short two of the C pins on the battery, either C1 and C3. That’s after you’ve configured the plungers to the right position for 60V. Make sure you fully depress the mechanical switch too!
Thanks for the tip! I think you’re right about C1 and C3. I had to modify my shipping adapter to get the mechanical switch to press all the way down, just as a heads-up!

This is correct! Just remember to not have that red cover on while using it, or else you'll just be using it as three 20V packs.
