Hey everyone! I recently moved into a new apartment and I've encountered a bit of a shower dilemma. The showerhead in my bathroom is set way too high for me to use comfortably (I'm only about five feet tall), and unfortunately, it can't be adjusted. This means I'm either getting just my forehead wet or crammed against the wall, which isn't ideal. I'm looking for a solution that doesn't involve a complete plumbing overhaul, since my landlord probably won't allow it. I'm wondering if there's a way to attach a proper showerhead to my bathtub faucet, which has a weird trapezoid shape and isn't threaded. I've seen rubber hoses for sink faucets, but I'd prefer not to have a setup that feels like washing a dog! What kind of part would work to attach a regular showerhead? Any advice would be super helpful!

Thanks for the tip! I just realized that my showerhead looks like it's all one piece into the wall, but I’ll grab a wrench and see if I can unscrew it. It’s pretty old, so maybe all the gunk is just hiding the connection. If I manage to get it off, I'm definitely treating myself to a showerhead with all the features to make up for showering like a fly on the wall these past few weeks!
