How Can I Avoid Voiding My Battery Warranty While Building a Power System?

I'm in the process of building a power system and need to use 16 LiFePO4 batteries. I'm considering the 12V 300Ah batteries, but I want to make sure I don't void the warranty by exceeding the manufacturer's specifications (which state a max configuration of 4S, 4P, or 4S4P). My plan is to go with a 4S4P setup for optimal wattage, but given the sunlight limitations, I'll only have about 2 times the usable power once I factor in depth of discharge. I'm also thinking about how to set up a separate bank of the same size for backup without connecting them, in case something goes wrong with one bank. Any suggestions?

To protect your warranty, consider adding circuit breakers or fuses for each battery bank. This setup limits the current and protects against potential failures, which could save you from warranty issues. Each parallel battery set should have its own protective device to ensure safety.

Have you thought about using 48V batteries instead? Since you're aiming for a 48V setup, it could simplify everything. However, I get that you want to stick with the 12V ones because you can’t find a suitable 48V 300Ah battery without breaking the bank.
