How Can I Boost Airflow from My A/C to My Master Bedroom?

I live in a single-story house with an A/C unit located near the front door. The problem is that my master bedroom, which is in the back corner, tends to get really hot compared to the rest of the house. The A/C unit itself works well, and other rooms are cooled properly, but I'm not getting much airflow from the vents in the master bedroom. I'm wondering if there's a way to check the airflow in different rooms and if there are methods to get more cool air into the master without making the entire house feel freezing.

It sounds like you have central A/C, so you might want to check if your vents are blocked by furniture or dust. A quick test is to place a piece of tissue over the vent in your master bedroom to see if it gets drawn in. If it's not, you might need to adjust the dampers on your ductwork or even consider adding a fan to help circulate the air better. Just be cautious not to overcool other areas in your home!

Another option is to use a box fan in your master bedroom to improve airflow. Position it near the vent to help push the cool air further into the room. Additionally, ensure that your A/C filters are clean, as a clogged filter can reduce airflow significantly. Sometimes simple maintenance can make a big difference!
