How Can I Brighten My Dark Bedroom Without Natural Light?

Hey everyone! I just moved into a new place, and I've got a bedroom with only one window that faces a brick wall. This means it's pretty dark, and honestly, it's starting to feel a bit depressing without any natural light. I'm looking for ideas to mimic sunlight because I need more illumination in my life! I've thought about using LED tape, but I'm worried it might create harsh lines instead of a cozy glow. I'm also planning on getting a sun lamp, but I could really use some additional suggestions. Any thoughts?

Have you thought about using multiple light sources? A combination of a floor lamp, a table lamp, and some accent lights can really help brighten up your space. Also, check out Lifx lights; they're super bright and come with a feature that adjusts brightness throughout the day to mimic natural sunlight. It could make a big difference!

For good lighting, look for bulbs with a color temperature around 5600K, as sunlight is about that temperature. You might also want to invest in a "happy lamp"—these are great for giving you that sunlight feel when you're doing activities like reading or watching TV. It's especially beneficial during the darker months to combat Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.).

While sunlight is indeed a range of frequencies, I agree with the main suggestion. Using a happy lamp really helps for that extra boost!
