I'm currently in a situation where buying a dishwasher isn't possible for me, so I'm considering the idea of building one myself. However, I'm feeling a bit lost on where to start. What suggestions or ideas do you all have to help me get going on this DIY project?

If you're really set on making a dishwasher, it's worth considering whether it's cost-effective. For the average person, building one from scratch might end up costing more than just picking up a used or portable dishwasher. Have you thought about looking for a broken one to fix instead? That could be a much more manageable project!

I actually like the idea of repairing a used appliance rather than starting from zero. It's usually a lot less hassle, too!
