How Can I Conceal the Ugly Corners in My Tiny Apartment?

I live in a cozy 21 sqm apartment, and I'm striving to maintain a clean and minimalist aesthetic. However, I've got two corners that are really detracting from my space. One corner has my router and modem setup with a fan plugged in, and the other is a tangled mess of wires behind my fridge and dish rack. Unfortunately, these are also the only power outlets I have, so moving them isn't an option. I'm looking for clever ways to hide or tidy these issues without making my apartment feel even smaller. I'd love to hear some DIY hacks, smart storage ideas, or just any visual tricks you can recommend. Thanks a lot!

If you can’t move things around, try using furniture creatively. You could place something in front of the mess—like a decorative screen or a tall plant—to block the view. Just be mindful of maintaining some airflow for your devices.

Consider incorporating some plants to creatively camouflage those corners! They can breathe life into the space and easily be arranged to cover any unsightly areas. Plus, using plant pots of different shapes can add visual interest while hiding your router or wires. Just make sure they’re manageable and match your decor style.

I have had success with this! I placed one of my routers inside an IKEA wall cabinet, and another sits on a shelf hidden behind a piece of fabric art. The signals still transit perfectly! For those messy wires, bundle them together using Velcro straps to keep things neat. If you really want to distract from them, a few decorative items in front can work wonders.
