I have this little lamp that uses AA batteries, and I'm wondering if there's a way to power it directly with a power cord instead. I'm open to any DIY methods, including splicing wires or using non-conventional solutions; I'm not worried about how it looks. Could someone provide a step-by-step guide on how to do this? Thanks in advance!

You can definitely do this yourself! You'll need a soldering iron and a transformer to step the voltage down. Or, if you want a simpler solution, just check out this adapter on Amazon that can do the job for about $15: [https://www.amazon.com/Lenink-Adapter-Battery-Replace-Thermostat/dp/B096NCTFSG/](https://www.amazon.com/Lenink-Adapter-Battery-Replace-Thermostat/dp/B096NCTFSG/)!
Make sure to match the voltage your lamp requires, which is typically 3 volts. To connect it, you'll need a voltage regulator between the 120 volts from the outlet and the 3 volts for your lamp.
Just to clarify, if you're going the DIY route, you'll first solder two wires to a regulator and then connect that to the outlet. That's the basic approach!
