I'm attempting to build a DIY media console and need a plywood panel for the back. To save some money and match the grain, I was thinking of making a 20x80" panel by cutting my own veneer and gluing it to a cheaper 1/4" panel I can find at a big box store. However, my bandsaw can only cut 10" wide, which means I'll have to glue several pieces together to reach the full width. Is there an effective method to do this?

Honestly, it might be easier just to grab a sheet of 1/4” hardwood plywood in the species you want. The time and hassle to do it all yourself could end up costing more, plus it might not look as good in the end.
