How Can I Design My Messy Pantry for Better Organization?

Hey, everyone! We just bought a condo, and our kitchen pantry is a complete disaster right now. We've just been stuffing whatever we can in there, so forgive the chaos! Ideally, I want to store pots, pans, snacks, and really maximize the limited space we have. How would you approach designing this pantry? Also, if I ditch the door trim, what sleek alternatives could I consider? The entire pantry dimensions are approximately 83x24 inches. Here's a link to a photo for reference: [Pantry Image](https://imgur.com/a/DeON4Va).

Edit: We plan on gutting this pantry and rebuilding it, so I'm on the lookout for design ideas and inspiration. Yes, it's messy, but we're looking to organize it better since we just moved in and threw everything in!

First off, clear out everything you rarely use—if you haven't touched it in over six months, consider banishing it to another storage space. Focus on keeping items you use regularly at hand. I also suggest incorporating some pull-out baskets for easy access. And remember, keep the pantry strictly for food! That kitchen hardware can find a new home elsewhere. If it doesn't qualify as food, it shouldn’t crash the pantry party!

Totally agree! We just moved in too and it’s chaotic. I'm leaning towards a base cabinet with some floating shelves on the wall for extra storage. That way, everything's organized and easily reachable!

Here’s a few quick tips:
1. Brighten up the space with some better lighting.
2. Group similar items together to make it easier to find what you need.
3. Organize like a grocery store—old products in the front! My pantry is a total disaster too, but I find bins really help keep things sorted out!

We recently renovated our kitchen and added new lights everywhere, but I’m worried that adding a light in such a small space might not work. Any thoughts?
